Fair Use Policy For Commersion Legal AI Tools

Last updated: 05.Apr.2026

This Fair Use Policy applies to all AI‑powered tools and workflows provided by Jayex Advisory Pty Ltd (“Commersion Legal”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including the Law Firm Website Conversion Optimisation Audit and any similar tools we release in future (“AI Tools”).

By accessing or using any AI Tool, you agree to this Fair Use Policy in addition to any other terms that apply to your purchase or membership.

1. Who May Use The Tools

  • Access is limited to the law firm or advisory practice that purchased the tool and to its internal team members.
  • Access is one firm / one Skool account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • You must be authorised to bind your firm to these terms.

2. Permitted Use And Usage Limits

The AI Tools are designed for reasonable, good‑faith use by one firm, not for unlimited or automated bulk use.

You agree that you will:

  • Use the tools only for your own firm’s website and marketing;
  • Use them manually (no bots, scripts, or automated abuse);
  • Respect any technical usage limits we set (for example daily, weekly, or monthly run caps).

We may apply rate limits or other technical controls at our discretion to protect system stability and control costs. If we believe your usage is excessive or abusive, we may throttle, suspend, or terminate access.

3. No Sharing, Resale, Or Competing Use

You must not:

  • Share your access links, passwords, or outputs with other firms or third parties as a way to give them “free” access to the tools;
  • Resell or sub‑license access to the AI Tools;
  • Use the tools to build, train, or improve a competing product or service.

Limited sharing of reports with your own developers, marketers, or internal stakeholders is fine as part of your normal use.

4. Inputs, Data, And Confidentiality

You are responsible for the content you submit to the tools, including URLs, screenshots, and any other inputs.

You agree that you will:

  • Only submit information you have the right to use;
  • Avoid submitting highly sensitive or regulated personal data (for example, health information or confidential client details) unless you have an appropriate legal basis and internal approvals.

We may process inputs and outputs to operate, maintain, and improve the tools. We will handle data in line with our Privacy Policy.

5. Outputs, Accuracy, And No Legal Advice

The AI Tools generate suggestions based on patterns in data and your inputs. They can be helpful but are not perfect.

You acknowledge that:

  • Outputs may contain errors, omissions, or recommendations that are not suitable for your situation;
  • All outputs are general information only and not legal advice;
  • You remain solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and deciding whether and how to implement any recommendation.

You should not rely on any output without your own professional judgment and, where appropriate, independent advice.

6. Our Right To Suspend Or Withdraw Access

We may suspend or withdraw access to any AI Tool, without refund, if:

  • We reasonably believe you are breaching this Fair Use Policy;
  • Your usage creates security, cost, or stability risks; or
  • We discontinue or materially change the relevant tool.

Where reasonable, we will give you notice before suspending or withdrawing access.

7. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Fair Use Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at commersion.legal/fair-use with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the AI Tools after an update means you accept the updated policy.
